International business services provider, Arise, is holding a series of recruitment advice sessions in Inverness, Ross-shire and Moray to find local people interested in working from home.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) has been working closely with the American based company, and its UK client Shop Direct Group, to develop the innovative and flexible home working project.
The model offers significant benefits both to the business and to the many skilled people who live in the Highlands and Islands but who need flexibility around working hours or who would prefer to work from home.
Working together with Jobcentre Plus, HIE is keen to look at new opportunities and innovative ways of working.? The sessions are to be held in Inverness, Alness, Dingwall, Elgin and Keith from March 5.
Dickon Moon, director of Arise said: ?Arise is delighted to continue our strong relationship with HIE in bringing our homeshoring model to the region. This next set of information sessions reflect our desire to capitalise on the success we have had in establishing a growing number of agents across the Highlands and Islands during the last 18 months, and we anticipate being able to spread the model to more new locations in the region during 2012.?
Joyce MacLennan, Head of Financial and Business Services at HIE, commented: ?The Highlands and Islands has an excellent and well deserved reputation for customer care, IT and a wide variety of specialist skills sought by business services providers. The home working model is one we have been testing in the region over the last year or two and we are finding that it opens up a whole new pool of talented people who can?t work traditional hours or who have difficulty travelling.?
Jobcentre Plus District Manager John Dennison agreed, he commented : ?I would encourage Jobseekers to consider the benefits of home working. Working from home can offer more flexibility about the hours you work, allowing you to meet commitments around childcare and other domestic responsibilities.?
