Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder
Gain an understanding of how children on the Autism Spectrum process and perceive information. Family members will learn strategies for success in interacting with their child.
Using Visual Supports
Learn how to use available resources in the home to develop visual aids and structure. Assist your child in understanding and preparing for his/her daily routines and transitions. Help your child have less anxiety and more predictability about upcoming events.
Teaching Socialization Skills
Identify and teach critical socialization skills. Learn how to help your child build relationships, make friends and interact with others.
Positive Behavior Supports
Learn how to deal with and reduce challenging behaviors. Learn strategies for teaching replacement behaviors and reinforcement of desired behaviors.
